EFGAMP is glad to be supporter of the international conference, which is dedicated to digital games preservation and games as cultural heritage in Central and Eastern Europe and will take place on the 25th-26th November 2024 at the Ponrepo Cinema in Prague.
In addition to keynotes by experienced experts presentations by the representatives of private initiatives, research projects, museums, libraries, galleries and archives from the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Poland, Austria, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia will describe the playing field. They will present on the conditions and activities dedicated to the documentation, archiving and presentation of interactive cultural heritage in each state. In the final plenary discussion, participants from Central and Eastern Europe will propose common methods and a transnational organization of game archiving for the region.
The Cataloging, Archiving and Exhibiting Digital Games workshop is organized by the Národní filmový archiv as a part of Pixelarchiv.cz, a joint NAKI project of NFA, FAMU (Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague) and ČVUT (Czech Technical University in Prague).
