The Cyprus Computer Museum is an institution dedicated to collecting, preserving, and showcasing the history and evolution of personal computing, digital technology, and gaming culture in Cyprus and beyond. It is located in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Established in 2017 and officially opened to the public in October 2018, the Museum preserves a growing collection of personal computers, peripherals, software, video games, and related technological artefacts. Through its exhibits, visitors are able to explore the development of home computing, programming, digital creativity, and interactive entertainment, and to understand how these technologies have shaped education, work, communication, and everyday life.
Beyond its permanent collection, the Cyprus Computer Museum is actively involved in education and public engagement. It organises workshops for schools, training events for teachers, family activities, and special events featuring guests from the computer and video game industries. The Museum also publishes its own Creative Commons books on computer history, programming, and digital technologies, contributing to open access educational material for students, educators, and the wider public.
