Video Game History Museum (HR)

The Video Game History Museum in Zagreb, Croatia, is an institution dedicated to preserving and showcasing the evolution of video games and gaming culture from the 1960s to the early 2000s.

Across more than 800 square meters and three floors, visitors are able to immerse themselves in a world that has shaped generations. With more than 3,000 exhibits – from legendary arcade machines like Computer Space and PONG, to rare consoles and computers, as well as original artworks and promotional materials – visitors can witness the evolution of an industry that is now larger than the film and music industries combined.

The project was founded by video game industry veteran Damir Šlogar, whose passion for collecting games, arcade machines, and gaming memorabilia spans more than four decades. Damir’s career in game development began in the early 1980s and evolved through his journalistic work in 1990s Croatia, culminating in the founding of the Canadian studio Big Blue Bubble in the early 2000s.
