International Computer Game Collection (DE)

The International Computer Game Collection (ICS – Internationale Computerspielesammlung gGmbH) has created one of the world’s most extensive and important collections by combining the collections held by the Computer Game Museum, fjs e.V. and USK with the archive of the German Computer Games Awards (Deutscher Computerspielpreis). Over 42.000 console, video, and computer games and a corresponding comprehensive metadata database that meets scientific standards are available for scientific, research, educational, and professional media purposes. Supported by public funding from the federal government of Germany and the state of Berlin.

We preserve games as a unique cultural treasure and enrich our society with the world’s largest archive of digital games as an immeasurable source of knowledge, creativity, and innovation.
